About Me
I will be graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in May with a B.S. in Public Relations as well as my Business Foundations Certificate. Although I started at UT as a Biology major, I quickly found my calling in the Communications sector. I've been fortunate enough to gain experience in a variety of fields including public relations for both a boutique and worldwide firm, development and fund-raising for an area non-profit, public affairs in higher education, and in-house public relations for an advertising and integrated marketing agency. I have a passion for social media-- you can find me on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and Tumblr. I also host my own blog, where I rant about all aspects of PR, advertising and marketing. I love taking on new challenges and projects and feel best when I've created something that really makes a client happy. I'm currently trying to master Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and InDesign. My interests include music of all kinds, sports, animals and traveling.
